Yard Sale Treasure.
Our mom's latest yard sale score is this pair of leather chairs all nice and worn in for $15.  They just needed a little bit of love.

My parent's pug Riley matches the chairs perfectly!

They found a home at our sister Al's house - my mom is a champion at finding good deals at yard sales and sharing with us all!

A Bit of Fall.

The fall weather has me loving all of the golden leaves on the ground, the rich colors of worn in leather, aged patinas on old metal trinkets, the warm glow of a lamp at dusk, bookshelves full of old favorites, road trips - I love this time of year!  How about you?

Ikat and other love stories.

My ikat love hasn't waned - nor has my love of dishes.  I'm super excited about these dishes from the new C. Wonder store - can't wait for them to get an online store up and running.  Have any of you been to the NYC store yet?  Looks like a fun shop with a lot of whimsy!

I'm always looking for the perfect cup & saucer - maybe these will even be in red too!

I've collected ikat plates and bowls over the years - and these would complement my collection well!  They mix great with my vintage blue willow dishes (another favorite growing collection).  Speaking of blue willow - I'm kind of obsessed with this blue willow inspired wallpaper.

I'm also loving this coffee table - I can just see my perfect ikat cup & saucer in this setting!

Halloween.

I hope everyone had a good time on Halloween!
This year my nieces and nephews got into the spirit of making their own costumes - something I always enjoyed doing as a kid (with my mom's help)!

My nephew Max transformed into a super scary werewolf - love it!

Bea (an 80's aerobics instructor) and Max getting into character before a big night of trick-or-treating!
Cowboy Sol.
Eloise as Dorothy with Scout filling in for Toto!

Rach carrying an over-excited Olive amongst all of the trick-or-treaters!  Happy Halloween!
